Just Imagine

I live in Ohio, the Mega lottery for this week exceeded records, it was worth two hundred, ninety million dollars. Could you imagins that? Oh what I would do. I know one thing, yes, bills, house, vehicles, vacaations, investments, and so on, would be a factor ( i worry about the details). but I would find a way to take care of people that otherwise are not. Without getting into the governement scope of things. If I lost money, oh well. I would GIVE, without giving to the government. But besides that, don''t you find yourself jelous that there was only one winner of that amount? I do. But that is ok cause it only goes so far. I am only jelous for stuppid personal readons. The poeple/person that won, they deserve it. Think about it. If you picked that "lucky" number, YooOU would have been the winner. If the good Lord wanted me, you, or anyone else to win, they would have. The luck of the draw. No one can be angry, jelous or umhappy that som eone other than them won. It happened and those that won, deserved it. God be with them in their new journey. I sstill can not help but wonder how they are feeling right now thoug. Imagine it. God love them.

Not really. Sure, it would be nice, but I don't judge my happiness by others. As long as I have enough money for a certain standard of living I don't really care how rich other people are. If I were not at that level already then I would definately be jealous. But I am, so live and let live.

As I said, they deserve it. I truly would not want to see more than just one winner. I may be bad off and may hava had a whole lot of knoks and punches but if it was not in the cards, it was not mine. THEY DESERVED IT, rich or poor, no matter. It was written.

He went to fight in Iraq

$290 million huh???

It's not really fathomable? I imagine I would keep the modest sum, of say... $50 million, and give the rest to charity... probably anti-cancer council or something like that...

BAM!!!

With 290 million I know exactly what I'd do.

First, the government's GOING to get their share. That's just the way it works.

I'd set aside $5 million for my living expenses for the rest of my life, then I'd buy a minor league baseball team, build them a new stadium with outfield bleachers (rare for a minor league park), and sell the outfield bleacher seats for a quarter to any kid under the age of 18. I'd hire out for my own concessions so that I could sell hotdogs for a buck, cokes for 50 cents, and popcorn for a quarter, and make it truly FAMILY entertainment. I would set aside about 100 "luxury boxes" for corporate ticketholders; the rest of the seats would be no more than $5.00 apiece. I'd write a clause in each player's contract that they had to appear for three autograph signing sessions for the team per year with NO ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION; major leaguers sent down on rehab assignments would only be able to rehab with the team if they were willing to show up for the autograph signing session. In short, I'd run baseball the way it's supposed to be run. The way it USED to be run.

Somehow, I think if I ran things that way, I could sell out just about every game.
